Globe Telecom partners anew with the Zamboanga City government for the celebration of the 2011 Zamboanga Hermosa Festival, leading the month-long festival dedicated to its patron saint, Nuestra Señora La Virgen del Pilar with myriad of events and activities which included the Miss Zamboanga 2011.

Other events sponsored by Globe Prepaid include Little Miss Universe on October 7 at the Astoria Regency in Pasonanca and a live concert by rock band URBANDUB on October 8 at the Zamboanga City Coliseum. Meanwhile, Zamboanga’s local talents will take center stage at the Globe Prepaid Day—Superbeats Variety Show, to be held on October 11 at the Paseo del Mar. Then on October 12, TM brings the ASTIGFEST concert to Zamboanga with Parokya ni Edgar at the parking grounds alongGov Camins Avenue. With the theme “Fiesta Hermosa, Vamos a Zamboanga,” this year’s celebration of the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival aims to promote the city as a tourism destination.
